I have been insecure by the appearance of my hairline and crown area for quite sometime. I got the procedure done today and it was amazing. Like the majority of reviewers, I had both a very positive experience with Tammie, Dr. Wadden, and Donna and positive result in terms of hair restoration. If if had it to... read more do over again, I would still opt for the FUT approach Dr. Wadden employs (versus FUE). It's a bit quicker, less expensive, and allows for another harvesting session should it be helpful. My loss was on the crown and 12-months later I am again with full head of hair. As shown in the before/after photos, the transplant does not leave you with a super-thick shock of hair as you might have had at age 15, however - in my experience the transplant has completely served it's purpose in providing my head with sufficient hair coverage that someone looking at me isn't saying to themselves, "This guy is balding on the top of his head etc." Should you opt to go with a transplant, simply be patient and don't expect any result for the first 6 months. Results may come sooner, but just know that it takes time for the hair follicles to thicken. Dr. Wadden will remind you of this fact. The transplant takes the better part of the day. You'll get to choose a movie to watch, and will likely spend some time talking with the team - all of whom are wonderful. One year on, I look back on the experience and find an extremely positive memory. I'm very grateful to Dr. Wadden, Tammie, and their staff for the gift of a crown that does not scream "hair loss". It looks great. Should you choose to move forward with the team, just know you are in good hands with highly competent people who offer a fantastic service at a reasonable price.

Procedure went extremely well, barely felt anything due to the freezing, and just chatted with the doctors while watching Netflix the whole time. I don't think my surgeon knew this either. It was traumatizing, and a harder recovery than it should have been. I spent years with a really poor transplant job I felt bullied into doing. I did some research and found Tammie at the Hair Loss Experts clinic and she was no-pressure, super informative, and extremely reassuring of whatever route I decided to go in. I booked an FUT transplant (for the higher rate of successful grafts) which was much more cost effective than any of those crooks in Toronto. And Tammie set up virtually everything, including my stay. It was so easy, and the entire surgery team was SO nice and reassuring! Most importantly (to me, in my case), the doctor has experience with BLACK clients! The doctor explained everything as he went, and left me feeling very confident in their work.
